Activity Alliance #whosays video finalist in this years Charity Film Awards

Activity Alliance released a film as part of their #WhoSays campaign, which is now a finalist at this year’s Charity Film Awards. Over 400 charities entered the awards, and their video  ‘Who says Disabled people aren’t competitive’ made the cut.

The Who says? campaign was created in response to Activity Alliance’s perceptions research, which explored non-Disabled people’s attitudes on inclusive activity. The findings showed a lack of understanding could be causing long-lasting barriers for Disabled people. This can in turn, lead to inactivity. For the least active audience in our country, people’s attitudes can make or break activity experiences. Who says created a movement that challenged perceptions around disability, inclusion and sport.

There is still time to vote for Activity Alliance’s video on the link below. Voting ends at 7.15pm on Tuesday 21st April.
