Speedy Co-production webinars for the sport sector and disability organisations
The coronavirus outbreak is currently causing huge upheaval to everyone’s lives, but especially to the lives of disabled people. It is therefore more important than ever that organisations are listening to the voices of disabled people. Involving disabled people in decisions that are affecting their lives, as well as involvement in shaping the design and delivery of services as we enter the ‘new normal’ will ensure that we can all come out of this crisis stronger together.
Get Yourself Active are hosting a number of short 15-20 minute co-production webinars over the next two months aimed at the sport sector as well as other organisations that work with disabled people. The sessions will cover a range of important topics that will support more organisations to understand the basics of co-production, as well as sharing good practice on effectively embedding co-production in practice.
These webinars are designed to be short in length so that it is easier to take time out of your schedule to engage in this important practice approach. The updated timetable will be released every 3 weeks. We encourage you to watch all of the sessions at your own pace in order to cover all important topics and ensure co-production is taking place effectively. The recorded session will be available on the Get Yourself Active website for viewing shortly afterwards.
